About the Editor

Murray N. Rothbard is the SJ. Hall Distinguished Professor of Economics at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Dr. Rothbard is also vice president for academic affairs of the Ludwig von Mises Institute of Auburn University and editor of its Review of Austrian Economics. He received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in economics from Columbia University, where he studied under Joseph Dorfman. He also studied under Ludwig von Mises at New York University. Dr. Rothbard is the author of more than one hundred scholarly articles and fifteen books, including: Man, Economy, and State; America’s Great Depression; The Rank of 1819; Power and Market; and Conceived in Liberty .
