Rights and licensing
License
The Liberty Archive combines original project work with historical material whose rights vary by item.
David Veksler's original work
Original work authored by David Veksler for the Liberty Archive is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International. This includes original site text, source code, templates, scripts, documentation, and project metadata authored by David Veksler.
When reusing that work, give appropriate credit, link to the licence, and indicate whether you made changes. A suitable attribution is:

What the site licence does not cover
The CC BY 4.0 site licence does not apply to archived books, journals, recordings, machine transcripts derived from recordings, covers, portraits, imported descriptions, quotations, or other third-party material. It also does not relicense work authored by another contributor unless that work is separately marked.
Collection rights are recorded per item. A book page shows the licence or public-domain evidence accepted for that edition, or neutral status text when no reusable grant has been verified. Journals, recordings, transcripts, images, and other materials retain the rights and conditions recorded for them. Free access and download availability do not by themselves grant reuse rights.
