Why has Böhm-Bawerk been attacked by "nihilist" forces within Austrianism?

0:00Again, I think the reason why von Boehm-Bawerk has been particularly attacked by the nihilist forces in modern industrial economics is because he's obviously clear, he's obviously equilibrating, he's obviously part of a great economic tradition. It's also what Mises built his theory on. Mises is an elaboration of von Boehm-Bawerk, an application to the theory of money. So if you eliminate von Boehm-Bawerk, you're also implicitly eliminating Mises, to cut the ground out from under Mises, a strategic ploy on the part of the nihilist forces. I mean, the thing about the nihilists is they don't like Mises, they don't like von Bawerk, who are they going to like if they call themselves Austrian? The only Menger is the only one left, and he's far enough in the past to sort of be safe, I suppose.
